Norway Receives More F-35s, Fulfills Program of Record


Norway is the first F-35 partner nation to receive all aircraft in its program of record. 

Norway’s air force now operates a fleet of 52 F-35 stealth fighters.

The early morning ferry flights marked a significant milestone in Norway’s efforts to modernize its military capabilities and interoperability, enabling it to operate alongside other F-35 partner nations and allies around the world.

The F-35 program is a cornerstone of U.S. and international defense strategy, with 20 nations in the global fleet.

Adding to this, Her Excellency Anniken Huitfeldt, Norway’s Ambassador to the United States, attended the ferry flights to witness the historic event.
