Brussels, 12 June 2018 – ILIAS Solutions recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Lockheed Martin to develop further long-term partnerships, if the Belgian government decides to choose the F-35 to replace the F-16s. These partnerships will mainly concern the inclusion of the ILIAS Defense Platform in international sales of Lockheed Martin.
Jean-Pierre Wildschut, Managing Director of ILIAS Solutions, said: “I am very happy that we signed this MoA today with Lockheed Martin that will extend the relationship between our companies for decades to come. For ILIAS Solutions, strengthening our collaboration with Lockheed Martin will not only support our international growth but also strengthen our product capability”.
Gregory Day, F-35 Belgium Business Development from Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, stated: “Lockheed Martin is very excited to strengthen and extend its longstanding relationship with ILIAS Solutions and to benefit from its proven capability to support the sustainment of our customers fleets”.
In September 2015, ILIAS Solutions and Lockheed Martin had already signed a Memorandum of Understanding to seek further collaborations in the framework of the F-16 replacement program.
