C-130J Maintenance and Aircrew Training System (MATS)

The C-130J MATS program provides training products and services to the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guard to help ensure C-130J aircrew and maintainers are fully prepared for worldwide operations.

Since the first contract was awarded in 2000, the C-130J MATS program has sought to foster a culture of readiness and excellence within the entire C-130J community by integrating aircrew and maintainer training to develop highly skilled teams.

The program, which provides a range of training devices and support services, such as aircrew instruction, operations, and contractor logistics support, plays a crucial role in ensuring students from U.S. Air Mobility Command, the Air Force Reserve Command, Air National Guard, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Navy Reserve are mission-qualified upon graduation, allowing them to seamlessly integrate into their operational units.
