John Brenner
Aircrew Instructor
John Brenner is an Aircrew and maintenance Instructor for the Sikorsky Training Academy in Jupiter, FL. John’s primary goal is to provide exceptional training for crew chiefs and maintainers, ensuring Sikorsky continues to provide instruction designed to bring people home everywhere, every time.
Since joining Sikorsky Aircraft in November of 2013, John has held multiple roles including Aircraft Customer Delivery Mechanic and Crew Chief, Test and Development Aircraft Mechanic, and now Aircrew Instructor at Sikorsky Training Academy.
Prior to joining Sikorsky Aircraft, John worked for Kratos Defense and Security Solutions as a sheet metal technician, installer and assembler. John also served in the U.S. Army as a UH-60 Blackhawk maintainer and Crew Chief. During his service John also held the positions of Unit Trainer, Flight Instructor, and Aviation Master Gunner and Instructor. John served during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
John studied aviation maintenance at Central Texas College as well as University of Maryland University College. John also holds an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license, FCC license, and has amassed nearly 2,000 hours of flight onboard the UH-60A/L, S-92 and S-76 platforms.
